This was our first CD, recorded in 1991 in St Cloud
with our friends Tom and Steve Pickard in their basement studio under the
label of Hot Wax Productions. Glen partnered with them in 1989 and contacted
me about recording my Northern Minnesota song. I was given the option of
coming back to Minnesota from Alaska to record it, and that turned into
the cassette and 45 rpm release of Northern Minnesota. When I returned
from Alaska and began working with Glen, we originally were Feyder and
Everhart, but thought we could find a better name. After we had recorded
and mastered our first CD, Uncle Don's Guitar, we struggled over what to
call ourselves for our new release. On the day it was supposed to go in
to be printed, I was on the phone with Glen and looking out over Chisago
Lake at the moon, and soon Full Moon progressed to Full Circle. At the
time it sounded good, and we went with it. It turned out we really didn't
like it all that well, so in 1993 we went back to Fyder and Everhart, but
notice I removed the first "e" in my last name so people would pronounce
it correctly. (Which produces much confusion here and with my family!)
ANYWAY, this has been mostly out of print for over
a year or so, except we (and my mom) kept finding copies we left at some
store or another, and then Steve Pickard found more this fall when cleaning
in the old basement studio. So we are offering what we have for sale. We
will sell the ones with inserts first, then go on to the others, with some
kind of a scan (like the not so great one above) or photocopy of the cover.
We have re-recorded a few of the songs on Goin' Up North. Here is a song
list.
